A must for doing drum brakes

New hardware is a must when doing drum brakes. Why trust old springs that could be stretched or rusted out?

The Brake Shoe Hold Down Pins are Shorter than OEM (By about 1/8") making it very difficult (really almost impossible) to Install the Hold Down Spring and Cup Retainer on the Pin(s).

The Upper Return Springs are larger in Diameter than OEM so that you can't squeeze the Spring between the Hub and Wheel Cylinder when installing the Spring making the Springs difficult to Install.

The Parts Bag says "Made in USA", but Hardware seems to be poorly made. It seems more likely that Parts were made Offshore and Packaged in the U.S."

Comments about Wearever Drum Brake Hardware Combi-Kit:

The kit for my Saturn had brake shoe pins that were 1/8" shorter then the original pins so they were unusable. Also, the springs are color-coded but there are no directions describing what color denotes which spring so what's the point of color-coding it? Totally ridiculous that the parts weren't made to OEM specs and lacked directions.
