I would have given these more stars, but I don't like having to set the pins myself. Especially not when there are other brands out there that come preset and are the same exact price. Also, the actual pad doesn't go the whole width of the shoe. Once again, other brands do that are just as inexpensive. Pins aren't horrible though, just set a socket underneath shoe where pin is and pound through with a hammer. Just make sure you are pounding on both sides of the pin so it goes through evenly and doesn't bind up on you. So all in all, a decent shoe for the price, but you can get better. Just look at the pictures and make sure the pin comes already set.

      Brake Material

Comments about Wearever Brake Shoes - Rear:

The price for these shoes were good, but the amount of reduced brake material is significant. The width of the brake material is 3/16" less and the overall length of the material is about 1.5" less.
The result is less stopping ability and the wear produced from these brakes shoes in the drum will end up leaving a wear ridge, so if the shoes are replaced with shoes that are like my originals; you would need new drums.

These do not fit a corolla. Took back to store and the store doesn't even list them for a corolla. Had to spend more for the set I needed and no online discount because I had car tore apart. They need to update the online parts.
