use this on my 2006 accord LX rear at 90k. the original shoe looked like still had some life on them but I already took the drum off so might as well replace the. the shoe had the same shape and dimension as the original. I was able to get the original shoe off without too much issue but putting the spring back after install the new shoe is definitely a pain in the butt when compare to disc brake replacement. you really have to be careful not to mess up the brake cylinder otherwise the brake fluid will leak and maybe even have to replace them. also re-adjust the nut to have the brae shoe have the correct amount of contact on the drum is another try and error. too tight it will burn, too light the E brake will be loose.

      Thudding sound everytime you brake

      By

      from South Elgin, IL

Comments about Wearever Brake Shoes - Rear:

Installed on a 2005 Honda accord. The cons: Makes thudding sound when brakes applied. Pins requires installation unlike other brands. Brake lining width is narrower than other brands. My experience with this brand was not good, I looked for other variables that might be contributing to the problem, by changing Drums, Wheel bearing hubs, and Hardware. The cylinder was the last item I replaced before I decided to replace the brake shoe again from a different brand. it turns out this brand new. never been used brake shoes was the root cause of the problem.

Comments about Wearever Brake Shoes - Rear:

Beginning with ordering the rear brake shoes for my nephews Honda Accord and picking them up, the experience was "No Problems." The removal of the old springs, clips, and brake shoes was not as easy as on other vehicles that we have worked on, but not too tough. The troubles began once we started installing the new brake shoes but had nothing to do with the new parts. The main spring was strong enough to work the brakes on any large pick-up and this made the installation process go slow and very tough. Once installed though, the new brake shoes work amazingly. Thanks
