This product cleans "all" brake residue and brake fluid from parts. It leaves the area where it is applied "clean as a whistle" with no residue left behind.

Love using this to clean all my parts. Just wish it was in larger cans so it wont run out so quickly.

Any time you replace a brake rotor, you'll need to clean the anti-rust coating first. This does the trick nicely. Put the rotor on a piece of cardboard or other disposable item and spray away! Before you start make sure to have paper towels or a clean rag immediately available to wipe down the rotor, as this stuff will evaporate quickly.

This brake cleaner works as good as the other brands in the store. It is regularly on sale so buy some before you need it. If it is not on sale then order it online and use promo codes to reduce your cost. If you are using it to clean brake parts on the car then place old newspaper under the area to catch the runoff and ease cleanup. NOTE: This stuff does a great job when you need to cleanup assembled AC joints and fittings when using a leak check dye to troubleshooting AC leaks.

This is a must for cleaning brake dust before performing rotor, brake pad, or caliper changes. It really cleans up the mess. It's worth the investment.

The link in the previous answer directs to the product's outdated Material Safety Data Sheet. As of June 1, 2015 manufacturers and distributors are required to provide GHS compliant Safety Data Sheets that meet the requirements of 29CFR1910.1200 Appendix D. The previous commenter wanted to know when GHS compliant materials will be available. These need to be incorporated into my company's Hazard Communication Program as well. We will have to stop using the product if compliant materials are not available. Please advise when these will be available.1 answer
