Anyone saying that the bearings failed within two weeks (or even a few months) didn't install these properly. You MUST rotate the drum often during the installation with the slide hammer to get the bearings to seat properly. Not doing this will give you problems.

That being said, the only issue with the 6 drums I've installed on my 3 foci have been rust. Have alloy wheels? PAINT THE DRUMS (on the outside of course). They will get surface rust the second you take them out of the box! This is the only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5. They are more difficult to install than non-bearing drums because of how FORD designed the rear hubs, but you can't fault the part, the manufacturer, or AAP for something that ford designed into the car.

The drum does its job, does it well, and the bearings don't go bad -if- you install the drums correctly.

These are cheap Chinese castings with VERY low quality control standards. 2 sets of bad bearings, one with loose/damaged studs, now another that is not round. Pulsates horribly and has less than 600 miles on it. When they stop replacing them under warranty I'll go buy something better.

Comments about Wearever Brake Drum - Rear:

Installed the part with everything cleaned up and spindle lubed. Properly torqued to 174 ft lbs. Made noises driving it around the block. Bought a different part elsewhare and it works fine. After 2 weeks they will not take it back. I do not want to keep doing this job over and over just because they will keep replacing it. Avoid this part at all costs.

Look and fit like OE. I knew tat bearings would not be included but the description should say so anyway. They should also include new cotter pins with the rotors. All in all they were exactly what I hoped they would be.

Comments about Wearever Brake Drum - Rear:

Ordered 2 of these drum/bearings. The bearings are pre-pressed. One of the bearings I torqued the wheel nut to spec and the internals broke apart, returned to store and associate tried joking "Don't break it next time." Associate should not make jokes, just sell the product without being sarcastic. They work, nothing special, no extra tools needed besides I used a 29MM Socket, Brake Cleaner, Flathead Screwdriver (Dust cap, tone ring, and for adjusting shoes), a torque wrench, and a breaker bar. This was installed on my 2007 Ford Focus SES 4Door Sedan. For similar installs, if the car is equipped with ABS, DO NOT FORGET to replace/remove the old Tone Ring into these new drums. (Google it if you don't know what a tone ring is).

I bought it because it comes with the axle bearing pre-installed and is a lot cheaper than buying the axle bearing only and installing it in your old hub.The original hubs don't have a seal to keep out moisture and salt but these do.

If your car has ABS, then the drum should have sensor ring that is press fit over the drum's inner housing. It can be removed with either a puller or carefully pride out from the old drum and carefully pressed on the new drum. Hope this helps.

You would have heard if you knew that the bearings are pressed into this particular drum. Much better and preferred to get a drum/bearing combo because most warrantees do not cover drum damage from having the bearing pressed by a third party
