Mounting bracket will not work!

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

Original mounting brackets must be remounted on both front calipers, as the remanufactured ones do not leave enough clearance for the rotor, by a quite a bit actually. Its a shame to pay extra, just to remove. Look for bracketless option if available. Calipers are good though.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

The threads for the brake line bolt were horrible. I could not get the bolt started and once in I could barely turn it. I had to turn it in a half turn and then back it out. Took about 15 minutes to get the bolt in and removing it was difficult. Took about 3x longer to get done due to poor thread on caliper.

The "A" at the end of part number meant it had the deeper bracket to fit over the larger diameter Legacy GT rotors. The salesman incorrectly told me I needed the SLC9795. My box was missing the stainless abutment shims and the copper washers, also

Had issue with caliper bracket on my car. Dealer wanted $60 for replacement. For a few dollars more, got bracket, caliper. No worries. I did have to buy the bracket bolts.

Hi Subarujay, we do have several core parts from different brands being remanufactured as Wearever brand. I am sorry we do not have more information on the exact core part that was used to remanufacture this Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper with Bracket (Part No. 19-B2683B).

              • Q:

On the picture for this item it appears to come with the caliper pins and rubber boots, I also see the brake pad mounting clips. The only parts I do not see are the bracket bolts. Are the pictures correct? I already have pads and bolts, just don't want to order and then have to run out for pins.

                  A:

I'm glad to assist, Dude! Remanufactured brake calipers have the piston replaced during the remanufacturing process. They are replaced along with any additional wear items to ensure that the caliper works "like new".

My 1st attempt to replace calipers and rotors and am not familiar with the term unloaded calipers. I think it means there are no pads included but would like confirmation.
