Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

Installed rear calipers on my 2003 Jetta TDI wagon in September 2014. At the beginning of January 2014 the rear driver side caliper seal developed a leak. Just checked the Limited Lifetime Warranty on these and it appers they are only a 90 day warranty, not Lifetime. Too bad the seal didn't start leaking a month earlier so it would still be covered by warranty. I gave it 2 stars cause it lasted a few months before failing.

The kit included copper washers for the banjo fitting and new anti-squeal shims, was simple to fit and bleed and showed no leaks anywhere; couldn't really ask for more.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

They don't come with required crush washers for the banjo bolt which is a serious problem since they're 12mm and very hard to find. A more serious problem is the bleeder valve. The one they put in there is not the correct taper to seal so they will leak. I originally thought it was a defect with the specific caliper but I exchanged it and it leaked again! I tried tightening it more and more and it eventually stripped. I returned both calipers and went to a different auto store to buy a different brand of caliper and they were perfect.

I specifically asked the technician to be certain the part was the right rear caliper, it turned out to be the left. Disappointed. I was not given the 20% discount as promised and the math at the store after the return of the wrong part did not = the same as on line, about $5 off.

        It was a defective.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

It was a defective. The air nozzle wasn't fit on the caliper body.
The replaced 2nd caliper also was bad.

The original air nozzle from the old part was fit on the new caliper body.
