Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

The thickness of the mounting area was too think. As a result the mounting area of the caliper rubbed against the rotor. Making another trip to Advanced auto. Hassel.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Import:

The first one of these I bought was not correct - it appeared to be a caliper for a 1990-1993 1.6L Miata. They look almost identical except for the size of the mounting bracket. Remanufacturer QC must not have checked the caliper dimensions.

This does not fit the mazdaspeed miata. It is made for the base miata with smaller brakes.

            A:

If you can not push the piston back in with a large C-clamp, then you will have to use a disc brake tool that we have available at our local stores.

          • A:

On Miata rear calipers there is a bolt you must back out to access an allen screw. Twist the allen screw to the right (tighten) to draw in the piston.
