OEM banjo bolt head is 15mm. This one came with 7/16" head. It came with crush washers which was a plus. The caliper has a recess for the washer. The ones that it came with were I felt, too big for it. Used a smaller washer and torqued it to 30 ft lbs. Haynes manual called 21ft lbs. I'm thinking that was a dry torque.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

This was a replacement for my Dodge truck. I knew the pads were gone so I got new calipers just in case they needed to be replaced. This one turned out to be fine so I did not need it.

      • Q:

I see this caliper comes with a screw on the bracket, that is in the middle over the caliper. Is this screw for securing the bracket to the caliper for added safety?
