Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

I redid both front calipers. These are rebuilt ones. The were cheap giving I used a $40 off online coupon. This caliper however, I had prob with. The bleeder valve was on way too tight from the factory. I put a 10mm wrench on it and it started to strip the valve. It wouldn't loosen. I put a 10 mm socket on it and that finished it. Rounded the thing off. Had to use channel locks and a hammer to get it off. I ended up have to use the old valve off my old caliper and put that on it.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

Cost seemed high until I realized it came with the caliper mount all preassembled. I really only wanted the caliper. My mounts and pins were fine for reuse but I figured why not less clean up work just add pads and slap it on. Noticed the threads of one of the mount holes looked a little low. One torqued and the other did not. Stripped right from the re-manufacturer. Buyer beware, check all threads on remanufactured items.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

It was a brake caliper, not much to say about that. It was cheap and it does its job well. I wish it had a coating on it that prevented or at least didn't show the rust so well. Its been on for a few weeks and already bright orange. I guess ill have to pull the wheel and paint it with some high temperature paint.

The brake line didn't want to screw into the caliper. Didn't want to cross thread it, so I took it back. Guy at store forced it with replacement brake bolt. Had him get a second one and it had the same problem. The paint was likely to think on the threads. So, paint shavings in the brake lines. Yikes! And it hasn't leaked yet.
