Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

Easy to do once you figure out how to install the pads. Wasted days trying to get pads to fit. I been doing many brake replacements and never met one as dumb as this one. Pads do not specify which side they belong, assuming the most logical wont work. Brought the caliper and roter to the store and no one could figure out why the pads wont fit into the caliper either. Big mystery to everyone. A very subtle change fixed the problem.
I had to remove the left side, also extremely fit, and swap pads to work.

        • Q:

The front brakes on the passenger side are not releasing...could my caliper on that side need replacing? Thanks!

            A:

Yes, your caliper might need to be changed, However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
