Used on every day driver. Parts fir well no problems took core in when I picked them up. I hate giving up the new box for a core. Then having to transport new parts with out the box. I also prplaced pads and rotors at the same time. I was replacing spider gears in the rear end and decided that this was a good time to change the pads. the old caliper would not compress so I had to replace it. used 30% off promo and then they were priced right. these bleed easy and included all of the spring hardware would buy again.

Bought two rear calipers for 99 Silverado. Technically you can use same part for left and right, but original calipers have bleed screw in slightly different location on right vs left caliper. Advance sells just one part. You can either look through several or if you get lucky you can get left and right. I ended up with two right calipers. Not a huge deal but makes bleeding the left caliper a little harder as it requires actually unmitigated the caliper to bleed (unless you vacuum bleed). Also, I got calipers from two different remanufacturers. They used different pins and one included the brake line connector bolt while the other one did not. Parts were okay, just wished I had gotten a left and right caliper (instead of two rights) and wish I got calipers from the same remanufacturer. But, I had an emergency and needed what I could get.

    • The spring / clips are crossive steel

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

Factory clips on the original calipers are made of non-magnetic /stainless steel and the ones provided with the rebuilt caliper are not. also the bleeder is made of a low-grade steel. I believe these will corrode quickly.

It's only aluminum. Don't over tighten the bolts. Comes with all the necessary hardware except new Caliper bracket bolts.

The part I bought which was a caliper was bad. Spent an hour and a half plus trying to figure out how to bleed before came to the conclusion that it was a bad part. Took back replacement work fine

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

Good for a reconditioned brake caliper. I purchased to replace a caliper that was not releasing properly. I bought it online and used the discount code to get another 30 percent off of the retail price. It had all of the parts needed for the installation including the mounting bracket, slides, slide hardware, and even two of the bushings for the brake line. I purchased a new brake line and it had two washers also, so I guess I will have some spares in the case that I need to take it apart again.

Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

Just like new calipers. All working parts are new, and they fit perfectly. Easy to install, the only problem I had was breaking the mounting bolts loose on the old ones. Once they are mounted and brake pads installed, just bleed the brakes and you are through. They will apply the brake pads and release just like brand new equipment.

Hi Jamie, glad to assist you! This part comes with a limited lifetime replacement warranty. The limited lifetime warranty part can be refunded for cash/credit within the 90 days time frame. After that time expires, it can only be exchanged for a new item.
