Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic:

I am a mechanic with over 30 years experience. I work in the Northeast and experience all the rust and weather that ruin brake parts very quickly. This Caliper was easy to install and very reliable. The secret to all caliper installations is to the mounting bracket and brake pad hardware. You must have new brake pad hardware or clean it very well and apply grease to the pad slides. In addition, you need to pull the mount sliding bolts OUT of the mount and grease them working them back into the mount rigorously. You may even have to put the sliding bolts to a wire wheel.
      Hope this helps...

I recently bought replacement brake calipers, Part No. 18-B4646 What are the torque specs for this product? The only ones included in the internal packaging are for the bleeder screw. I'm installing these new calipers on an 03 Chevy Malibu 3.1L. Specifically, torque specs for caliper mounting bracket bolt and banjo bolt connecting the brake line to the caliper?
