Comments about Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper - Domestic:

Exactly what I ordered and would use their site again. The counter staff was very helpful and understanding. They knew I was not a professional and did not treat me as an idiot. The manager went out of his way to satisfy me.

Its a reman stock caliper. It gets the job done and works well. Comes with all the hardware which is really nice. Buy new hoses while your at it, they probably need to be changed anyhow.

            A:

Hi Fixer, I'm glad to assist you! The rubber bands come with the Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper (Part No. 18-4075) are to help eliminate brake squeal. You have to wrap the rubber bands around the perimeter of the pad. When the pad wears, the rubber bands will get pushed further back onto the pads. Please make sure the edge of the rubber bands is even in the face of the pad. As this rubber bands are made of a high temperature material, they can take the heat associated with the normal braking.
