This is the part that fits in the front of Walker Catalytic Converter (part#16369). This is inferior to Victor Reinz gasket (part#f32017). For a little over $2.00 more I would go with the superior brand

Exactly where does this gasket fit?
Between the exhaust manifold and the tailpipe?
Or - Between the tailpipe and the catalytic converter?
Your web description indicates BOTH locations, but Honda shows two different part numbers for the front and rear of the tailpipe (the pipe after the exhaust manifold and before the cat converter).

Hi Nero, good question! This part goes to the inlet of the front pipe. You will need Walker 31645 between front pipe and catalytic converter, Walker 31383 between catalytic converter and central muffler and Walker 35335 exhaust clamp for the rear muffler. I need to replace the rear CAT on my 2005 Nissan Maxima. I have already purchased the convertor and I'm looking for the required gaskets to do the job. I saw a diagram on another website that showed there was no gasket required between the manifold and the rear CAT but had one between the rear CAT and the exhaust pipe. The only gasket listed on your site is walker P/N 31377 but there is a note indicating "use before convertor"
Can you clearify what gaskets are required to replace the rear CAT on my vehicle. Thanks, DanAsked on 11/8/2012 by Dan from 217951 answer
