Installed on a 2000 Escalade 4x4 without issue make sure if you need the other parts such as the star adjuster and sping kit you order them seperately, like the previous set of wagners ive installed on other cars no issues.

Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet Organic Brake Shoes - Rear:

i really like these brakes. i would normally buy the cheapest brakes there are from here for my truck but after my last experience with those brakes on my truck i went with the higher priced ones. and now i wont go back. these brakes stop my truck very well, have no noise whatsoever, and do not cause too much dust.

            • Q:

On the 1989 chevy pick-up they have 2 different types of rear brake system. The duo-servo type and the leading/trailing type. Mine is the leading trailing type. Do both kinds take the same part # and is there any difference between the primary pad shoe length and secondary pad shoe length. I had my brakes replaced and since then I have had problems with the back ones hanging up sometimes. I removed the drums today and found out all 4 shoe pads are 9 3/4" in length instead of 2 different lengths. Before replacing these I want to make sure what is wrong so I know what to get. Any advise you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
