Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic Brake Pads (4-Pad Set):

I've had these pads on my '02 Silverado Z71 over a year now. I just rotated my 33" tires a couple of weeks ago and took a peak at the pads. They appear to still have 95% life on them. Not to shabby after about 15K miles.

I also like the fact that my polished aluminum wheels stay clean. These pads produce zero brake dust from what I've seen. They're quiet and they STOP like you want them to.

They're a bit expensive. I got them because I don't drive vehicle much and rotors rust up and regular pads build up rust particles and won't stop good. These don't do that. Also have them on my wifes vehicle witch also doesn't get drove much and they work much better than regular pads.

Work ok but when driving downhill out of mountains (no I don't ride breaks)they heat up and make a hissing noise and start smelling like they are overheating. I'm sure stopping distance must be affected with the rotors and pads heating up that much

I have an 06 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and need new rear brake pads. I would like the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. The website has the QC784 and QC785 as both being front pads. When I look up these pads on Wagners website it says the QC785 are rears. Are they?

I bought these pads for my Pontiac and the box says "Made in the USA". They are great and I will buy them again for other cars , as I like the quality of USA made, especially versus Chinese steel, which is always suspect.
