Not much to say really. The pads were installed on a 1999 Chevy Cavalier. I was surprised to find the box also included new rubber bushings for the caliper slide pins. Everything fit without a problem and the brakes work just fine.

Brake pads are sold in sets. EIther a set for the front brakes or a set for the rear brakes.

            • A:

no this pads only cover the front because their rotors for the back your gonna need brake shoes because on the back you have drums

This will cover the left and right front brakes correct?

              A:

Brake pads are sold in sets. Meaning either a set for both rear wheels, or both front wheels.

Answered on 4/12/2010 by Mike from AAP
            • A:

              Marc, you are correct.
Brake pads are always sold in sets (2 pairs, consisting of 4 pads in total) for automobiles and light trucks. Brake pads/shoes are typically sold to service "1 axle", which only makes sense from both a safety and braking performance standpoint.
There are some occassions where this is not the case, for example, brake shoes for a trailer, or a heavy duty truck (like a large dump truck or semi-tractor) are often sold per wheel, not per axle.
