Comments about Victor Tubeless Tire Repair Kit:

The plug material necked away from the insertion tool making a larger glob that could not possibly slide into the hole. I would hope that the kit was just "old" and that they are not selling inferior products. Also, pay the extra and get the tools with the "t-handle". None of us here felt we could put enough pressure on the straight handle tool to insert a plug.

Comments about Victor Tubeless Tire Repair Kit:

I learned to plug tubeless tires as a teenager. Our tractor tire was punctured by a roofing nail and gave me the perect opportunity to teach my 15 year old son. The look of amazement when he was finished, after approximately 3 minutes of work, was priceless.

          A:

First use the one closed in tool to puncture the hole and smooth out the sides. Then take one of the plugs and thread it through the open ended tool. Coat the plug with a generous amount of rubber cement that should be included with this. Force plug through the hole in the tire but leave a little bit of it sticking out, do not push plug all the way through. Allow plug time to set before you apply any air to tire. One thing I always do is apply more rubber cement to the plug once it has been installed.
