Comments about Valvoline MaxLife (ATF) Automatic Transmission Fluid with Stop Leak (32 oz.):

After using this oil with the Transmission Stop Leak by BlueDevil the transmission does nothing but slip when I put the vehicle in reverse after driving it about 20 miles. Vehicle never slipped in any gear prior to using these 2 products. I have used Valvoline products all my life so I suspect the BlueDevil Trans Stop Leak. I cannot say for sure though.

Comments about Valvoline MaxLife (ATF) Automatic Transmission Fluid with Stop Leak (32 oz.):

Had a tiny ATF leak somewhere on my Mazda (once in a while you could smell hot ATF after a long drive, no drips on ground), so I pumped out 16oz of ATF and replaced it with 16oz of this stuff. It did smell again two times after that, but that was it. It seems to have sealed that tiny leak. Transmission function was not affected in any way at all.

Hi David, it's actually a good question! The Valvoline MaxLife (ATF) Automatic Transmission Fluid with Stop Leak (32 oz.) - Part No. VV337 would be the product to use in your Highlander. But, the Valvoline Power Steering Stop Leak product would not be the proper product to use, since Toyota actually uses ATF in the power steering systems.

              A:

Hi Eric, happy to help you with the question you had. The ATF you selected is not compatible with your vehicle. According to the manufacture its recommended to use Nissan Matic S ATF. Another thing to be noted according to the manufacture when doing a drain and refill, measure the amount of fluid removed and replace with the same amount.
