Comments about Turtlewax Trim Restorer (10 oz.):
Looks amazing, granted I haven't seen how well it holds up over time. Was easy to apply and made the trim on my Volvo xc70 look like new. I have a black car and the faded trim really let it down, but now looks AMAZING, highly recommend. Next time I will wear disposable gloves though!

Comments about Turtlewax Trim Restorer (10 oz.):
I would recommend rolling down your windows or putting some sort of barrier tape around the trim or component your are applying this product to. Other than that it works great.

Son used it on his car and says he likes it.

Comments about Turtlewax Trim Restorer (10 oz.):
I liked the ease of using this one step product.
If I can make one suggestion--- please include a second applicator....the one in the package was not sufficient for the amount of wax and the surface it covered. This stuff is really GOOD!

Comments about Turtlewax Trim Restorer (10 oz.):
Easy to apply with foam rubber tapered brush. I just applied 3 light coats, one every 10 minutes, and then wiped down with a soft cotton cloth until all excess removed. It brought all my dark grey trim back to its original luster and color. Just be careful not to slop on painted surfaces. Take the time to be careful and you'll love the results!!

Comments about Turtlewax Trim Restorer (10 oz.):
It is very easy to apply and remove AND MOST OF ALL IT DOES NOT LEAVE AN OILY SHINEY SURFACE AS DOES ARMORAL. I USED THIS PRODUCT ON MY TRAILBLAZER INCLUDING THE RUNNING BOARDS AND STILL HAVE ENOUGH PRODUCT LEFTOVER FOR 2 OR 3 MORE APPLICATIONS. THE BEST PART IS THE COST COMPARED TO THE PRODUCTS YOU SEE ADVERTISED ON TV. TURTLEWAX IS ABOUT HALF THE PRICE OF THOSE ADVERTISED ON TV AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING. I PLAN ON USING THIS ON MY CORVETTE WHEN IT COMES OUT OF WINTER STORAGE.

Comments about Turtlewax Trim Restorer (10 oz.):
This stuff works great. I only used one coat on the undersides of the car with the rubber and plastic black bits and the outcome was great. The black color is back and it didn't lose its shine through the NJ Hurricane. It was a bit hard to buff off, but you must do this when you apply it to remove the residue. Other than that, two thumbs up!

This is an amazing product. Was a little unsure at first how well it worked but figured for [$]why not try it. I have a Chevrolet Avalanche and one bottle covered all trim (mirrors, tonneau cover area, bumpers, fender flares) with enough left over to do this process at least four more times. I can't say enough good about this product. It's not too messy, it applies easily and evenly. Seeing how well this product worked i am defiantly going to start using Turtle Wax products for all of my car detailing needs.

Q:
I previously used a Turtle Wax product called Black Chrome. It was very easy to apply, and did a great job. All you did was wipe it on and then buff off the excess. Apparently, it is no longer available. I had a tiny bit left which I applied to a spot on my faded Jeep Wrangler top, and it looked great. Is this product similar? Is it that easy to apply?1 answer

A:
Hi Kenneth, glad to assist you! This trim restorer will restore it to its original condition and protect it from future fading. It can be used on plastic trim, body cladding, window seals, molding, plastic wiper arms, door handles, tonneau covers and more. This also prevents staining caused by accidental contact with some waxes and polishes. Use foam applicator to apply a thick coat using a gentle back-and-forth motion. Let it soak in for 5-10 minutes. Wipe away excess with a clean microfiber cloth. Repeat as necessary for badly weathered sections.
