Comments about Turtlewax Polishing Compound (10.5 oz.):

My Grandad purchased some of this to use on some small scratches on the car. After finishing with that, I tried it on some very faded Tootsietoy toy trucks from the '60s and '70s respectively.

Both had probably set out in the weather for decades. The originally bright red paint had faded to a flat pink. I put some of this on a microfiber cloth and began scrubbing. After quite a bit of scrubbing, the bright red paint began to show through the fading. It took quite a bit of scrubbing to achieve any result, but I do believe that using a Dremel equipped with a buffing attachment.

                    A:

Hey Bear, Good question. This product is ideal for removing light scratches and oxidation to restore shine on your vehicle's paint. However, there is a better product that we sell for removing windshield scratches. It is Mothers Brazilian Carnauba wax (part #05500). Also, check out a YouTube video on how to use this application on your own vehicle! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rlUPk6wIBc Happy buffing!
