Purchased the recommended radiator cap for a replacement radiator (Ready-Rad) for a 94 Integra. Other reviews stated the cap did not fit properly. I dont know what model number was used in this particular case, but the cap I received was a perfect fit. Upon searching the Advance site for a replacement radiator, the compatible cap was listed. Both radiator and cap were ordered and recieved in a timely manner. Free shipping is a huge plus along with the online discounts offered by Advance. Upon a replacement of the radiator and a flush and fill the new cap was installed. The cap is a little light weight in construction but fits fine.

I bought this case it says made in Japan but I dont know if I have a defective one because mine starts to leak on high speed or when rpm goes over 3000 ,I inspected the item no signs of damage I wish I can return or swap it but dont have the reciept and Advance Auto Parts does not have a good costumer service ,I dont understand why they wont swap it without a reciept since they're the only ones who sell this particular item .

    Comments about Stant Radiator Cap:

Seems to be holding pressure fine. Fit like it should. Appearance is a bit cheap but it seems to be working after a week or so.

Only thing is the ad here says it's from Stant but I couldn't find any mention of Stant on the cap or the box it came in. If I had known that I would have kept looking until I found a Stant brand cap.

Ordered online using promo code P20 and saved 20%. Picked up in store a few minutes later, installed along with a few other components I picked up and I was done, no issues with this cap yet but its only been about 2 weeks since I changed it.

            Comments about Stant Radiator Cap:

This part is a good replacement when doing a coolant flush. The parts fits nice and tight. However the quality just looks average. Comparing the OEM one, the metal part looks thinner. Obviously it's not going to be exactly the same as OEM but was expecting something better. Overall the part was good.

I have a 1992 Honda Civic. This radiator cap fits really tight. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to use it at first. It didn't seem like it was going to fit.

yes readiator sysrems are pressurized to help raise the pressure and maintain the temp. If it is weak it will force the fluid out.
