Comments about Factory Air Blower Motor:

Bolted right end. You have to fumble with the existing foam seal. I temporarily plugged in the connector wires to check for correct polarity. Then installed the mating connector and finished.
Appx 20 mins start to finish.

Fan stopped working on my 99 f-450 7.3 diesel truck. After checking fuses to find all was well and relays, I decided to just go ahead and purchase this item. In stock at my local store. Ordered online and picked up at store.
Easy install, works like a new one. Very pleased.

Great replacement for OEM motor that wore out on my 2001 Excursion 7.3L You will need to wire up the plug, which is very easy to do. You will also need to move your old fan cage to the new motor. Again, easy enough to do.

Comments about Factory Air Blower Motor:

Replaced the blower motor and blown front resistor when the I lost all but high blower speeds. The new motor was fairly easy to install. I wish it also included a replacement foam gasket.
The old foam gasket was slightly stretched out of shape. I held it in place on the new motor housing by using a few drops of crazy glue at key points on the new motor. Otherwise, the gasket would have slipped out of place.
Also, it does not include the fan blades. You must reuse the old blades. Try adding a couple of drops of WD-40 to the old fan blade spindle before trying to remove the blades. The job will go easier.

Comments about Factory Air Blower Motor:

It's a universal blower, had to bend two tabs out of the way with pliers, cut off the factory alignment pegs on blower housing with my pocket knife, simple, and then it blew backwards, so I reversed the wires, and then it was great, for the price, you can't beat it, the motorcraft one is a hundred bucks, sooo, it's your choice, if your handy, no problem if not, better get the motorcraft one

Comments about Factory Air Blower Motor:

I purchased this motor to replace one that was failing on my 1999 Mercury Villager. The original motor mounting plate is plastic, where this replacement is all steel. Upon installing the blower, I was informed to check the direction of the motor's rotation before I bolted it in. Sure enough, it was running backwards. I simply reversed the connectors in the plug and it now turns in the right direction. The installation was as easy as the removal, and the new motor is nice and quiet.
