website claimed it was factory OEM fit for my 1989 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup. Nothing fit and had to drill all the holes for the mounting screws none of the pre-drilled holes even came close to factory setup. And I am a GM certified mechanic.

It fits, it's quit, it blows air. Slightly more difficult to install than I thought, but like a lot of things, once you know how, it's easy. I ordered it online and picked it up at the store. Got a discount. No problems.

              1994 Chevy C1500:
Original heater/AC blower would only run on "High".
              Resistor was blown out.
Replaced resistor; then blower motor would squeal on lower speeds (probably what blew out resistor).
Replaced blower motor with this one. It now runs quiet on all speeds and seems like it blows more air. It takes a while to remove everything to get to the blower motor, but not really that difficult.

              NOT OEM

Comments about ToughOne or Factory Flanged Vented CW Blower Motor w/ Wheel:

This blower motor is NOT OEM for a 1996 Yukon. The OEM motor comes with a rubber gasket/buffer molded onto it to reduce noise. This one does not. The metal housing goes right up against the plastic mount in the vehicle. The OEM blower had metal spacers installed for the screws as well. Not with this one. The OEM screws are now too long. As soon as I turned it on, it started to rattle like crazy (yes the screws were tight). It is going to be taken back asap. I am hoping that the wheel is just out of balance.
