The part was an adequate replacement for non functioning A/C part. Size dimensions were a bit to big for perfect re-install into vehicle holding bracket. But I was able to make it work.

    Regarding the T83148 A/C accumulator listed for my 2004 Ford Crown Victoria, VIN'W': My OE accumulator has a switch located where the T83148 has a charging port. They are otherwise identical. There was no literature in the box. Can I unscrew the port and swap in the switch without damage to the unit?
