Comments about ToughOne Air Conditioning Accumulator:

2003 Chevy Impala 3.8l. Replaced only due to age when replacing a leaky high-side port. The part itself fit well with good machining, and seems to be working just fine. At least, my son's A/C is still blowing cold after a few months with no issues. However, the O-rings included in the package were not the correct size for the application. They were of the correct outside diameter, but too thin in cross-section. The correct O-rings were in the Interdynamics ORNG-1 kit also sold by AAP, so you might want to have that on hand and not have to make a trip back out like I did mid-job (you can always return later if not needed). Maybe it was just a one-time problem and not a regular issue. Compare carefully with your existing O-rings though. Also make sure you have a couple ounces of appropriate PAG oil to add to the unit.

    Accumulator seems OK, O-rings not

Comments about ToughOne Air Conditioning Accumulator:

Replaced because the A/C had been out in my 03 Impala (3.8l) since I got it and best to replace at this age/unknown how long it was open to air. The part seems like a quality part and works fine so far, but the included O-rings were too large in outside diameter and too small in cross-section for my application. Maybe there are multiple applications and the included rings would work for some of them. The correct size O-rings were found in the Interdynamics ORNG-1 kit that AAP also sells. Might want to have that on hand for your job just in case.

Longevity remains to be seen. But with the high-side port replacement and this, vacuum and recharge the A/C is blowing cold again. A 5mm socket got the stud off of the old accumulator for re-use on this one.
