    Comments about ToughOne A/C Condenser:

First a professional shop did the installation. Now for the issues. The MN 6234 condensor fails to meet form and fit for a stock 99 Avalon. The lower mounting bracket is slightly lower than on OEM. This raises the overall height of the condensor keeping it from mating to the vehicles mounting plate. This was overcome
by mounting without the rubber mounts. The upper mounting bracket taken from the OEM condensor failed to match to vehilce frame. This was overcome by removing the rubber damper and inverting the mount on the condensor. In my opinion the 6234 meets function BUT NOT FORM and FIT. I had called Advance auto prior to order because of reading a previous comment that questioned the form and fit of 6234 condensor. The rep even call Visteon to double check the form and fit. I was given assurance both from Advance Auto and the manufacture Visteon the 6234 met the OEM FORM, FIT & FUNCTION requirements for a 1999 Toyota Avalon. THE PART DOES NOT FIT THIS APPLICATION AS I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE. As a result of this descrepency a job that books at 1.5 hrs cost 2.5 hrs to complete. It is my hope that Advance Auto will require the manufacture to review its spec drawing against the actual part and Toyota's specification for this part or change their description to indicate not an exact fit. Advance Auto owes this to their future custoners. Summation the condensor removed was an original Toyota part and was removed easily. The consensor MN 6234 called out as a replacement for this application out of the box failed to fit.

      Comments about ToughOne A/C Condenser:

The hose mounts are not threaded like OEM.
The mounting post on the bottom of the condensor
have no rubber grommets and the post spacing is to short to fit the holes in the frame rail on the car. The online picture is completely different than what is in the box. THIS PART WILL NOT WORK!

              A:

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
