      I'm glad to assist you, Amanda! There is a life hammer at the bottom of this flashlight, which can be used to break the glass when car accident happens. With a blade, this can be used to cut the safety belt when accident happens and the safety belt doesn't work. LED flash light is useful at night if get trouble. There is magnetic material at the bottom of this flashlight, so you can put it on the car roof.

      I'm glad to assist, Tim the Tool Man! This Toolworks Emergency Safety Tool (Part No. TW236) is cordless. The unit will accept rechargeable batteries. It is not rechargeable itselft. The tool uses 2 AA batteries (not included). The tool is 7.6" x 1.5" (L x D). The tool has an emergency beacon, a flashlight, a safety belt cutter and a life hammer. The base is also magnetic.
