For the price it's decent, the ratchets aren't that bad, being I used them every day they broke within 3 weeks...The adaptor they give to use the 3/8ths ratchet to use the 1/4 inch sockets broke the first time used. I also found there is no 15mm socket which is sort of common to use....other than that, it's [$], I don't regret buying it, just don't expect too much out of it....

Comments about Toolworks 75 pc Socket Set:

The 3/8 to 1/4 adapter snapped at the neck, and a ratchet broke under pressure trying to break the seal on a rusted bolt. Most of the sockets are good for weekend work, but buyer beware for heavy duty use. If you get this for the sockets, make sure to get decent wrenches in addition, don't rely on what this comes with. They're flimsy and meant for little more than play.

Comments about Toolworks 75 pc Socket Set:

The set would be good if you're doing very minor repairs if you're going to be doing something that requires a little more force (brakes, rusted on bolts, etc) I'd recommend spending the money and getting craftsman. These are cheaply made and broke fairly easily

This is great to keep in the trunk for an emergency. I have one set for each of my 3 cars, and it has come in handy to facilitate on road repairs. I actually used this set, with the addition of a few other tools, to change the timing belt on my 07 Suzuki. I would highly recommend to purchase a set, especially with a coupon code!

Comments about Toolworks 75 pc Socket Set:

This set did not live up to my standards. The ratcheting handles broke. And I had to buy an extension piece not included in the set. It's a poor product when it can't handle some torque. So, I'm going to have to return this poorly made socket set. I mean, if you sell it in an auto supply store, it ought to be able to handle simple auto repairs!

Comments about Toolworks 75 pc Socket Set:

Ratchet stopped working on first use, now only works in one direction (i.e. anticlockwise) and keeps 'slipping' in the other !!! Will be returning this set as soon as I can... Set might be OK for VERY light work but spend a little more if you plan to do anything else.

Comments about Toolworks 75 pc Socket Set:

I bought these because my Craftsman set wasn't with me at the time and they were cheap. I did a brake job on my Tacoma and they seemed to work ok. I did another job on my friend's 4runner and they didn't do so well. I used the 3/8" wrench and the extension for it. The extension actually just twisted and sheered off when I tried to take off the calipers. Then I took the extension out and the gears on the wrench broke and now it spins both ways. I then used the 1/2" wrench and the socket stripped the first time I tried to use it. The set would prolly be ok for light duty stuff but trying to take off a bolt like that is not what these are made for I guess. I'll stick with Craftsman from now on.
