Installed on my 05 Avalanche 5.3. Installation required a little mod on the 2 out version to accept stock tailpipe. Awesome sound asked all the time what exhaust I have. Big block muscle car rumble. Faster you go quieter it gets. No resonation. I had to put one on my 05 Suburban as well so wife would quit driving mine. Never spend the big money on Flowmaster again.

      Comments about Thrush Welded Muffler:

Any old schoolers know what performance sounds like, this muffler does that. Gives a nice aggressive low rumble as accelerating without being to loud at idle or at cruising. These mufflers are better and sound better than Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers at 1/3 the cost. Had Flowmaster on my 94 Chevy k1500 w/ 5.7, never again, muffler didn't sound as good as Thrush, and it rusted out in less than 2 years

      Comments about Thrush Welded Muffler:

Old exhaust system was rusted and need to find a quick replacement. The thrush was the only one in stock and saved a little cash by ordering online and picking up at store. Installed it and instantly loved how much deeper it sounded compared to my previous muffler. Really makes the truck have that mean tone but is not to loud or obnoxious. These things flow a lot more cfm than what the blomaster does and overall it sounds better also.

              Comments about Thrush Welded Muffler:

For my 92 GMC Sierra - had to make my own reducer from the muffler to the tail pipe, 2.5" o.d. to 2.25" i.d. or buy new tail pipes with a 2.5" o.d. This muffler was shorter than the one I took off by 7" so I had to add 7" to the 3" inlet side. After alot of searching, I found some pieces I could modify to work from another store. Once I got my modifications welded and clamped up, it was as easy to install as any other muffler system.

I would personally go with Flow Master because they tend to sound good on your 2002 Chevrolet Camaro V6. However they are a little more expensive and this is only my opinion. This Thrush Welded Muffler should be sufficient if they are within your budget.
