I have a 95 Buick century limited 3.1 V6. I got this muffler not thinking it was gonna sound that good, man was I wrong. It gave my car a mean idle and when you rev it it sounds almost like a Mustang V8. I would suggest getting this product, but if you want it really loud on this car, run it straight muffler no tail pipe. I put the tail pipe on mine and it still sounds great but quieter.

After 2 years and 2000 miles, all in town driving with no abuse, one of the mufflers is coming apart inside. Has a vibration/rattle inside. Probably going to replace it with something different. Disappointed with sound at first, but after running awhile, they began to sound better before the rattle started.

Comments about Thrush Welded Muffler:

I have used these mufflers on several different builds now. I have never had a failure that was the result of defects with the muffler itself. Great bang for the buck. Great sound.

    Comments about Thrush Welded Muffler:

Bought 2 of these mufflers for a project of mine (1994 Lincoln Mark VIII) mainly because of price, I didn't want a turbo style muffler, and while searching I stumbled upon these. They are lightwieght, and construction seemed decent.

I couldn't be more impressed with the sound. Has a nice low rumble at idle and they scream pretty loud when you open it up ( I'm running a true dual exhaust with no catylyic converters or resonators).

I'm very satisfied with the mufflers. Fit, finish and sound are great. The only thing left to see is if they hold up over time.

I used this on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L. Sounds pretty good at idle, got a nice light rumble to it and sounds a lot like a small V8. A little more throaty and high pitched on acceleration, but not rice rockety, and really no different from a series 40 I've heard on the same type motor. Not too loud down the highway either. Seems to be made well. No problems yet (few hundred miles) and matched up well to factory pipes. Had it welded in by a shop for 25 bucks

The backpressure is decreased by 30 percent over stock and they produce a deep performance tone under acceleration that quiets down while cruising.
