Comments about Tanner Select Chamois (2.5 sq. ft.):

I've been deatiling cars since I bought my first 65' Mustang in 1978. And Like most car geeks, I've tried all of the new latest and greatest products looking for a way to dry my cars as quickly as possible-without scratching the finish. I'm also a practical guy and look for something that is a good value and will last. No matter what I've tried, I've always come back to using a chamois. A chamois is the best value I've found and the quickest way to dry the car without scratching the finish. I've tried lots of different brands over the years, but this Tanner's Select chamois is the best one I've found. I have a bigger size I use on the paint and I use this size for doing the interior windows and dash. I've had the larger one for over threee years now, so they last a good long time (provided you follow the directions and take care of it... don't put it in the washing machine or use a degreaser on it). It's a great chamois and when mine finally wears out some day, I'll buy another one of these.

          • Erases Charcoal On Paper

Comments about Tanner Select Chamois (2.5 sq. ft.):

In a drawing class we draw many of the model's poses and save paper by erasing some of the drawings between poses. The chamois cloth erases the charcoal handily.

Comments about Tanner Select Chamois (2.5 sq. ft.):

This chamois is difficult to use because it does not want to slide over the surfaces that you are trying to dry but rather it wrinkles and folds in your hands. The water absorption is very poor as well. I could absorb more water with a towel. After 20 years using synthetic chamois I am very disappointed with this product. I will try to return it. Please do yourself a big favor and spend your money in another product.
