Comments about Sylvania XtraVision TWIN Halogen Headlight:

The product itself was easy to install but I had to take the front end off of my truck to put them in the socket. I wish the OEM's made it a little easier on the consumer to replace the simple things such as light bulbs.

These are good bulbs. They are a little brighter than the ones that came with my wife's Mercury Milan.

Comments about Sylvania XtraVision TWIN Halogen Headlight:

I have not noticed any real improvement with these lights. Standard OEM's would have been fine. Visually looking at my vehicle (2008 Saturn) prior to purchasing, I thought they would be easy to install. NOT. We had to remove tires and install underneath from the wheel well. Not for the do it your selfer.

I used these lights to replace the originals. I had thought that the life was short, but then I did something unconventional. I started wiping the bulb with an alcohol wipey such as used on eye glasses. I suspected that something happened to the bulbs in transit. I have been wiping them every change and they last one year to a year and a half......very satisfied.....

Much brighter than OEM however be prepared to replace every few months. Sylvania keeps saying they have improved but I don't know on what. If they sold them for 5 bucks then maybe I wouldn't mind replacing every 4 or 5 months.

Installed in a '08 Honda CRV. High beam vision is greatly improved. Light is brighter and reaches much farther ahead, however, low beam lighting is pointing into the ground. Low beam only reaches out about three car lengths. Put up with these things for seven weeks. Removed these bulbs and re-installed OEM bulbs.

When you read the details you find that you only get minimal brightness improvement. They compare new H11s to worn out bulbs. Then, according to packaging, life is worse than standard bulbs.

Hi Fish, good question! The H11 - Headlight bulbs are designed to specifically fit a 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek. While it may fit other vehicles, please try the vehicle search on our web page. If you enter your vehicle information on the website and search for 'Headlight', you will then find the correct set for your vehicle.

can you show a picture of the connector pins instead of the current view? I bought the 9005xv that was listed as low beam bulb, but the connector pins were wrong. thanks!

Hi Mike! Good question, though very open-ended. There is no detail for connector pins as Sylvania manufacture the lamps, not the harness. This Headlight is a direct plug in for your original equipment harness in your vehicle. Being this is your original equipment (H11), no picture should be required as the harness plug is keyed. Please provide the year, make and model of your vehicle so we can confirm you are using the right bulb.
