Thankfully Advance Auto had this bulb. They are obscenely expensive and usually only available at the dealerships. You can find them on line but there are no free lunches. Buy the name brand bulb(s) from OSRAM (sp?) or Sylvania. The downside these bulbs are quite difficult to install the first time you try it. One word of advice, take pictures with your cell phone and have a flexible bright flash light available. It takes a touch to make it work but you can do do it without paying the dealer $150 labor. My bulbs went into a MB ML320CDI and I finally know how to do it. Mercedes's Owner's manual is of no use ... in fact they advise against trying to do it yourself but I am here to tell you it can work if you are patient !

The Advanced Auto Parts selector for my 2006 Range Rover came up with these Xenon replacement bulbs. However, the ones on the truck were different. The local store gladly refunded my money, which is good considering they are electronic parts, but they didn't have access to the actual parts and I had to find them elsewhere. Advanced needs to verify their parts selector will provide the correct parts.

        Comments about Sylvania Hid Bulb:

I needed a new bulb for my 2006 Saab 9.3 Aero. Purchased it online with a coupon and received a great price. The service in the store was fast. The bulb is a direct replacement, made by Sylvania, which is brand name for Osram in USA. The bulb is made in Germany. You can't go wrong with items made in Germany. It could be pricey, but quality always cost. I found the same bulb with not a single marking on the base as of who made it, what model it is or any technical data. It was cheaper, but who knows how long it will last. Very happy with the purchase and the service.

Well gang, it doesn't get much simpler than this: IT IS A LIGHTBULB. Xenon bulbs change color temperature as they age, so if your other bulb is more than a few months older than your new bulb, replace as a pair to maintain similar color temperatures. OEM replacement part fit perfectly.

                        • Q:

Is this the correct headlight for a stock 2008 Mazda Speed3? I believe, but I could be wrong, that the stock light is a HID bulb. My left headlight is out, but I think that the high-beams still works. I want to either replace both high and low (if it's one bulb) or just the low (if it's two).

I did a search on what fits my Mazda3Speed, but I want to find the closest replacement available.

Also, is this a "do it myself" kind of thing? Should I even be looking at this? Or is it one of those things that I really should take it to a dealership?

Yes, this low beam hid bulb fits your vehicle. For installation, I would recommend purchasing a repair manual.
