        Comments about Sylvania Halogen Headlight:

Decided to go with the lower end model of bulb after having burnt through 3-4 silverstars in 2 years. So far these have held up much better. The longevity far outweighs the slightly decreased brightness/color temp.

Easy to install. But last only 1 year. In comparison, the original part lasted 5 years. In this price range, I got what I paid for. So, no complaint.

          Comments about Sylvania Halogen Headlight:

This light bulb had good reviews and was the least expensive of all the OEM replacement 'exact fit' bulbs. It did fit just fine, and it did work. The problem is it burned out after just sixteen months. So, now here I am again, looking for a replacement. And the install isn't terribly easy on a Kia minivan, so it's a waste of my time to be doing this twice in less than two years. I would advise buying a higher end replacement bulb as I intend to do this time. The additional cost will hopefully offset the cost of the time it would take for me to replace it yet again in the next year and a half.

The listing photo should have two views - so you can tell how many prongs there are. I didn't use this product because it was the wrong one - I had to go back and buy another one - still have it but I wasted a trip to the store - & the cost of mileage - $6.00 not to say the environmental impact of this bad listing that said it was 100% for my car - it was just not the bulb I needed - the fog light not the high beam - I didn't know I had a fog light - now I know - but it will last a lifetime.

yhis product lists as an exact fit for a 2001 hyundia elentra when in fact it does not. this bulb is a one prong and the vehichle takes a two pronged bulb. sometimes I believe that no one is even monitoring this site. competition is a driving force and no part of a companies customer service should be overlooked. too many non fit and incorrectly posted parts. I try to use advanced for all my o=purchases however there are too many other parts stores to continue to waste time, gas and money going back and forth to change out wrongly listed parts. thank you for your attention

                      A:

What exact bulb are you looking for? Low beam, high beam, fog light? Halogen bulbs are different than HID bulbs. HID bulbs are usually alot brighter than halogen, but halogen tend to usually last a little while longer.

the B is VERY important. The difference is not in the bulb itself but the way it connects to the car. The plug is different if you have an Elantra like I and you buy the H11 it will not fit in your car. I found that out the hard way! also sometimes the b and the non b are both on the rack in the same place on the shelf in the store to confuse you more! - careful! Hope that helps. - A

Firmly grip the socket assembly from the back side of the lamp housing and rotate it in the direction that it turns freely (1/3) turn. Then pull the lamp socket straight out and remove faulty bulb.
Use care in handling the new lamp! It is a halogen, use a tissue or clean rag. NOTE: Halogen lamps life is seriously effected as handling with bare hands creates hot spots on the bulb from the oil on your skin.
