Comments about Sylvania Long Life 4114 LL Mini Bulb, 2 Pack:

Item was plug and play on my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali. Seems to be the direct replacement for the OEM item.

Make sure to push it in all the way until it snaps in!

      • Q:

Whats the difference between the DRL light bulb 4114 and 3157? Are they interchangable?

        • A:

The 3157 is rated at 12 Volts, the 4114 at 14 volts. Since auto Voltage can be above 14 at times, the 4114 is the best choice. GM "engineers" apparently don't know a Volt from an Amp. They put 3157 bulbs for DRLs and taillights. The result is scorched sockets and burned out bulbs.

USE THE 4114 IN VEHICLES. They last MUCH longer and run cooler.

I understand GM replaced the original 4157K (i.e., 4114LL) with the 4114K back in 2003/2004 timeframe. I've read the 3157 does not have the same voltage flux tolerance at the 4114.
