Q:Hi,,I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ that I purchased Used And the Air Ride has been Disabled...They put Rancho Quick Lift Struts On the Front and Bilstein Gas Shocks On the Rear.....The problem is I do not think the Rear coil springs are strong enough without the air shocks . The Truck feels real soft in the rear end and bounces a lot....Will these Shocks solve or help this issue?....And is the Price listed for 1 Shock or the Pair?....Thank You....Dave
A:Happy to help! Yes, you are right, the conversion kit will eliminate all of the air suspension parts that are prone to failure like the air shocks, compressor, sensors, etc. The Conversion Kits are simple yet effective and solve many of the issues of having an air suspension. Price is listed for one kit and that is all you need for your vehicle. There are videos on YouTube to help walk you through the process in addition to the instructions that are provided with the kit.
Q:When installing this kit. Would it make the light on my dash remain on? Do the resistors bypass the computer to thinking the shocks are fine?
A:I'm happy to help, Ben! This Suncore Air Suspension Conversion Kit (Part No. 150G-30-R-RES) does include all of the necessary equipment to remove the air suspension message from the dashboard. Suncore does not provide the how-to for removing the light until the kit is purchased.
