It is easy to replace, I thought it would lift trunk, but just aids in opening, not strong enough to lift trunk to upright position. This is only a slight improvement over stock struts.

      Hi Butch, good question! Generally lift supports should be replaced in pairs to ensure that they're both working correctly.
