Comments about Strong Arm Lift Support:

I bought this strut along with the left one, as a pair. The old struts were completely useless, and with the new ones installed it lifts by itself and stays up now, as it should.

For some reason, this one was longer than the left one. Even with the hatch all the way up, the strut was still over an inch too far from the ball joint that it clips on to. The only way to install it was to bolt it in place and then push on it hard enough to compress it, and clip it onto the ball joint. Unlike the right one, which was a one person job, this one took 2 people: one to hold the hatch up and one to compress the strut and move it into position.
