Comments about Stant Superstat Premium Thermostat, 195 Degrees Fahrenheit:

make sure to also pick up a gasket. for an ALH TDI you need a 50MM by 4mm. would have been 5 stars if it came with a gasket.

    • Q:

does this thermostat have the locking tabs that fit with the thermostat housing?

      1 answer

Locate the thermostat by finding the two-inch thick black hose coming out of the top of the radiator. The hose will end somewhere on the top of the engine and it will be clamped onto the thermostat cover.
