The Superstat has the added features of a heavier frame, spring and heat motor for more control and longer life. Its unique, patented valve promotes extremely fast flow as the thermostat opens to reduce cycling. This thermostat offers a longer life so you do not have to change the thermostat as often, promotes improved engine efficiency from better temperature control and provides high flow.

    It's pretty difficult to produce a bad thermostat. Works as expected. Don't forget to also order a new gasket.

        after replacing the radiator, hoses, and thermostat...your thermostat would not open, even at very high temps...so, I removed it and drive without a thermostat...

          doesn't have the bleed vent in the same place as mopar, but has a similar design. be careful the orint thermostat similat to the mopar one in the cavity.
