Comments about Stant Superstat Premium Thermostat, 180 Degrees Fahrenheit:

Typical Stant quality... Well-made, thick metal, brass or copper where needed...why would anyone save a dollar or two for the cheeep stuff?
I've been using Stant caps and thermo's for over thirty years, from sixties British racers, to the latest SUV's.. they are worth the money..

Comments about Stant Superstat Premium Thermostat, 180 Degrees Fahrenheit:

have used stant products for years, they have always worked good.Bought a thermostat for my 93 Regal and the counter guy asked me if i needed a gasket. It does not come with one?? Extra $1.50 :{ went home and started to put it in and found I needed another rubber ring to put on the thing! that one is $3.50 this should be marked as an incomplete part as thermostats i have always used have come with the gaskets to install them??????????? will continue to use the same products from stant but disclosure would be helpful and will also save gas going back and forth to the parts store.

Comments about Stant Superstat Premium Thermostat, 180 Degrees Fahrenheit:

This Product is Great for a thermostat reduction. The only Thing I would wish is if the brand/company that producted this Theromstat made a 175F Though it would most likely end up a 170F. Installation is easy so long as you know how to. Do Not Attempt On Your Own for the 1st Time Without being shown where the old thermostat is located and some basic advice on how to get it. Only install when the car is warm to cold, never install hot or you will get burn. So make sure you can hold the hoses of the car without your bear hands burning, And Don't for Get the O-ring rubber seal, and have some RTV ready to use.
