RPT coils are designed and produced under a strict TS16949 quality control process. From our raw materials to the final assembly; every production process goes through rigorous testing requirements to ensure each product we produce meets OE specifications.   • All coils are durability tested at 100 cycles of thermal shock (-50 to 300° F), to ensure reliability from extreme vibration
  • 64 hours salt spray test ensures sensors provide high corrosion resistance.
  • 100% copper in both primary and secondary windings.
  • 100% tested to OE specification.
  • High voltage enamel coating insulating the windings.

    this item says its for order online only .... my question is that if there is some problem with the coil within the 1 yr warranty period how do I return it ... can I return it to a local store or does it have to be reshipped and pay the extra fees again

      Good question Chris! Online purchases can be returned to any Advance Auto Parts store within 90 days from the date of purchase. Bring original packaging and your receipt, Order Confirmation email or Merchandise Return Form. All refunds will be credited back to you via the same payment method used for your original order. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable except in case of returns due to our error. You can find a copy of your receipt in your Order Confirmation email, as well as in the Your Order Status section of Your Account at www.advanceautoparts.com. If you did not register with Advance Auto Parts and cannot locate your Order Confirmation email, please contact Customer Care at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623).
