Comments about Spectra Premium Fuel Tank:

Good replacement tank option. Mine had rusted out and was leaking gas at 3 of the 4 corners where the strap holds the tank. Has been in the truck for almost 2 years now. Was simple to replace. However it did arrive with a dent in the top, but for the price I wasn't concerned. I'd assume it was the shipper's fault.

your truck gets a 25 gallon tank. Maybe your gauge is not accurate if it only takes 17 gallons to fill when reading empty. It is a 25 gallon tank.
