For Application vehicle has to be on and engine warm . .
Better than many other fuel treatments used before!
Results are GrrReat . .
Will use again on other vehicles.

When used on vehicles with electronic intake valve control you will need someone to assist you in accelerating the vehicle in order to open valve and hold constant RPM . .
Otherwise it is really easy when can open valve from the side like the second photo attached shows. .

Comments about Sea Foam Spray Cleaner and Lube (12 oz.):

Before I used this application, I cleaned around and behind the throttle plate really well. This helped with the idle some. Then I used this top end cleaner as instructed on the bottle. It smoked like heck. I think the bottle emptied before 5 minutes, so I'm not sure if I got the full benefit of the heat sink. However, there has been a great improvement on my idle. I even needed to adjust the idle speed down from 1000 rpm to 700rpm. Actually seems to improve the more I drive the truck. This was on a 1994 Toyota 22re motor.

I was skeptical about products like this. But continued to read in forums that this was part of routine maintenance on GM 3.4 liter engines. I used it in a 2003 Monte Carlo with significant improvements. I have now used it in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 liter to cure a sticking Idle Air Control. I am very satisfied. It seems that a lot of people confuse "Top Engine Cleaner & Lube" with "Deep Creep". All I know is that "Top Engine Cleaner & Lube" is sensor safe and intended for this use. I will continue to use it. Yes, the straw could be a better fit.

Comments about Sea Foam Spray Cleaner and Lube (12 oz.):

Applied to already removed intake manifold. I tried for 2 days to clean it up but this product is just useless. No matter how long I left it to soak, it would not remove old carbon/oil residue. I even used a soft brush to allow penetrate thru the deposits but no effect. Finally, I used an old spray of brake cleaner and I was able to clean the part well after 3-4 applications. This product may work well on fresh carbon/oil deposits but has zero effect on well-established deposits. If you think/believe this product will clean your throttle/intake you may be amazed if you remove them and see close-up.
CONCLUSION: Perhaps effective if you regularly apply this cleaner to your vehicle - if your throttle body and intake manifold has old gunk, rest assured you are wasting your money (and most importantly your time).
              Temporary fix? maybe
Long-term effect? Absolutely not because it does not clean old dirty gunk.

Comments about Sea Foam Spray Cleaner and Lube (12 oz.):

I bought this for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma. The PCV valve went bad and it left a HUGE amount of sludge in the throttle body. I know that it didn't end there, though. I replaced the PCV valve and used this product. I have to say that this stuff really works! Make sure that your in a well ventilated area when using this, because the exhaust smoke and fumes are gonna be extreme the first few minutes. This means that its working! My truck has a turn down exhaust and when I got done running this through it there was a big black spot of sludge on the ground under the exhaust. My truck runs some much better now, like new. It idles so much better. The only complaint that I have about this product is the flimsy straw. It doesn't want to stay attached to the can. It came off the can twice with me. I performed this by myself, because I didn't have the help at the time. It would work so much better with two people since the RPM's have to be held at a certain rate when spraying this into the engine. I'm gonna get me another can in a couple of weeks and repeat the process. I want to make sure that the engine is EXTRA clean. Anyways, this is a great product and I would recommend this to anybody and everybody!

When using the Seafoam the vehicle may bog down, if you feel you need to rev it just a little revving would suffice. You can also pour less of the additive if the vehicle seems like it will die.

go in through a vacuum line port on the intake manifold. Spray in about 15 second bursts then stop spraying for 30 seconds. You will hear the engine start to bog down. Repeat this about 4 times then shut the engine off and let it sit for 10 minutes. When you start the engine again it will smoke HEAVILY this is normal rev the engine to about 3-4000 rpm for 1 minute. If you can, drive the vehicle and accelerate quickly from a stop 2 or three times.
