I bought this a month ago after my old charger bit the dust. I don't use it much but the neighbors know I have a charger and I usually help them out with a lot of odds and ends. I wanted something more than a simple trickle charger and I wanted the power to start a dead battery. My old charger was my dads and was around 35 years old so , it was time for a new one. We got the sub-freeze this week and my neighbors battery would not start his vehicle. I told him I have been waiting for a chance to try this one out and went over to his house to start his vehicle. I hooked it up and put it on the 200 amp engine start and waited about 3 to 4 minutes for the meter to read 20 DC Amps He turned over the engine and it started right up. He was so impressed that he is going to buy one for his house. I am just a do it yourselfer and might not need to use it more than maybe 5 or 6 times a year but , I know I have something that seams to be reliable and is really simple to use and read. I'm not sure if I would ever need the 2 amp trickle charge so the cheaper 10amp , 40 amp , 200 amp would have been good enough but , this way I also have the 100 amp if I need it.

Battery charger works well, but the chargers battery cables seem too small of gauge for a 200 amp engine start. It started my car great but cables got hot. Cable clamps don't seem very good quality either. Concerned how long hollow plastic wheels are going to last. Not sure if it should be considered a fleet charger?

We are using it for a fleet of over 80 vehicles, fanilly a charger that will charge up a dead battery. Manuel settings are perfect. Wheels make it easy to get around the lot. Super price!

This is a very good charger for the price. I have a construction company so it will get its use. I actually picked it up at UPS early because I had a truck with a bad alternator and I needed to get the batteries back up to charge since they were dead. I would have given it 5 stars but the terminal clamps are cheap compared to my previous Schumacher charger. I cut them off and put heavier duty clamps on. It would still have bought it if I would have seen it first so that wouldn't have detered me from buying it. You wil be pleased with the performance.
