Comments about Russell Speed Bleeder, Thread Size - 10 mm X 1.0:

It's not quite clear which cars this will fit. I asked the SpeedBleeder guy on his website for info and it took him almost a week to respond. In the meantime I ordered some of these in different sizes from Advance. This was a good size for a 2000 Jetta GLX (VR6 Engine), front and rear with stock calipers and wheels.

Sadly, this has been a job I've neglected for too long, always busy with something else. I finally got around to it and it couldn't have been easier. If you're going to do this job by yourself then this is going to be a big help.

Interestingly, I saw no improvement in braking performance after bleeding, though I did see bubbles come out of one of the brake lines.

I actually own a Motiv Speed Bleeder but for some reason I'm not that impressed with it. Either way, you're going to need to add fluid to the reservoir so it couldn't hurt to have a helper with you, but if you're doing this by yourself then it'll save you a lot of trips to each wheel opening and closing the bleeder valve. For the the amount of time this will save you it's worth it.

Hello, I am trying to figure out if this speed bleeder will fit my 2000 BMW K1200LT motorcycle.

I know the correct part number for another brand is SB1010S.

I am just not sure if this part would correspond to the SB1010 or the SB1010S. Both are 10mmx1 however the SB1010S has a shorter overall thread length to fit the Brembo brakes on my bike.

No, I am sorry. The Russell Speed Bleeder, Thread Size - 10 mm X 1.0 - Part No. 639630 is not an exact equivalent for the SB1010 speed bleeder. Unfortunately I do not see an exact fit for your 2000 BMW K1200LT motorcycle available online. However I would recommend that you check with the nearest Advance Auto store or call us toll free at: 1-877-238-2623 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

I used to own something that would allow me to bleed the brake fluid by myself without getting out of the driver seat and getting under the car to turn a wrench with every pump of the brake. It worked great but somehow it got lost and I'd like to get another. Is that what this is? Will it work on my 1992 Lincoln Mark VII LSC?
