Comments about Royal Purple 10W-30 High Performance Fully Synthetic Motor Oil (1 Quart):

Sure, you could use conventional oil and have to replace it every 3K - 5K miles or you could use Royal Purple and replace it every 10K. Some people like to go longer, but I'm cautious about my vehicle.

Switched to Royal Purple around 190K and it now has 232K in a Pontiac Bonneville with a GM 3.8L 3800 Series 2 engine. Combine this with a K&N oil filter and your oil changes just became easier.

Comments about Royal Purple 10W-30 High Performance Fully Synthetic Motor Oil (1 Quart):

I have been using Royal Purple in my Ford Thunderbird since 70,000 miles. I wrote a review at 170,000 miles. Still going strong now at 218,000. Mileage is still about 28 mpg highway. If you have a car you'd like to keep going or just want to get the most out of your hard earned money, I recommend using Royal Purple motor oil each and every time. The only way to protect your engine any better is to use Lucas Upper Cylinder lube in every tank of gas. This is my recipe for a long lived car and great reliability.
So next time your changing your oil, make it royal purple and get the most out of your car.

Great customer service provided when I order online and go to the store to pick up my oil. We use the oil in our Nissan Titan. It is what we use to pull the camper. My husband states that it causes the performace of the truck to increase. It protects the engine and causes it to run better.

I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for the most our of their ride. Worth the extra cost over other brands.

Comments about Royal Purple 10W-30 High Performance Fully Synthetic Motor Oil (1 Quart):

I have been using Royal Purple products for many years now. I have never had any problems with any of the vehicles I have used it in. It is somewhat more expensive than some of the other full synthetic oils, but I have found it performs better, and seems to improve fuel milage. It is definately more cost effective than having expensive motor repairs due to a lessor quality motor oil. And no, I do not work for Royal Purple.
I have used it for road racing vehicles, drag racing vehicles, my every day cars and trucks. Another positive is they have changed the names from "Racing 11 and Racing 21, etc to easy to understnad normal SAE ratings that are easily seen.

Royal Purple’s API-licensed Motor Oil combines premium base oils with proprietary additive technologies to create high performance motor oils that optimize engine performance. Royal Purple’s API-licensed motor oil delivers superior protection and improves performance in gasoline and diesel engines. Royal Purple’s API-licensed SN motor oil meets ILSAC GF-5 and Dexos1™* performance requirements. No special procedures are necessary when upgrading to Royal Purple. Royal Purple recommends waiting until the manufacturer’s first scheduled oil change in new gasoline and diesel engines before upgrading to Royal Purple. Royal Purple motor oil is compatible with synthetic and conventional motor oils. Enhanced additive technology prevents metal-to-metal contact beyond both dexos1™* and ILSAC GF-5 specifications. A low coefficient of friction results in optimized fuel efficiency. Patented ZDDP additives optimize emissions catalyst system life. Patented additive technology prevents the white sludge and lubrication starvation that can occur with 20% or higher ethanol fuel. No rust observed in standard industry testing.

No, this oil should be just fine. I do recommend that if you use synthetic, you continue using synthetic because of the conditioning additives used within the synthetic oil.

It is ok to use, Royal Purple full synthetic oil in your vehicle. You may want to double check the weight of the oil that your car requires and use that weight instead.

You can use this for your vehicle, but if you use it once, I do not recommend using any oil less than a synthetic from then on. When syntethic oil is used, the oil conditions and swells the gaskets to help prevent leaks. If you go back to basic oil instead of using synthetic, you run a very high risk of developing oil leaks.

If you have very high mileage, using a different weight oil won't hurt anything. After working in an oil shop for 3 years, I noticed that very few vehicles on the road today use the recommended weight of oil the charts say. I would recommened either using a sythetic or a high mileage synthetic oil.
