2-3 mpg more with, vs without. However, the company recently shaved 3oz off the lg and med can, and 2 off the small (19oz to 16oz, etc.) Each can is approx. $2 higher than a year ago as well. The cans say nothing about a more concentrated product. If it use to take 19oz to treat an 8cyl engine, how is it that 16 will suffice now? I'm tired of everyone shrinking their product, whether it be food companies or auto products. I say BOYCOTT ENGINE RESTORE until they come to their senses.

I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND AS THE FORMULA CHANGED A LITTLE HERE AND THERE IT STILL WORKS WELL. i HAVE EVEN USED IN A CHEVY 305 150 THOUSAND MILE MOTOR AND HAVE SEEN RESULTS. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS REMOVED FROM THE CAR AND DISSASSENBLED YOU COULD SEE THE COPPER NICKLE AND ZINK IN THE ENGINE. IT WAS NOTED ON THE CRANK SHAFT FILLING IN MINOR SCRATCHS. ......... ALSO NOTED IN THE WALL OF THE CYLINDERS FILLING IN SCRATCHES THAT INTURN INCREASED THE COMPRESSON ON THE ENGING GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!

Comments about Engine Restorer and Lubricant with CSL 8-Cylinder Formula 16oz:

Use Engine Restorer in my two Saturn SC2 (1999 and 2002)at every oil and filter change for the past 7 years. Have found that the rate of oil consumption has stabilized in both vehicles at about one pint in a 4,000 mile interval.

This is significant in that my previous Saturns(1995 and 1998 SC2's) experienced at least 1.5 quart oil consumption in the same 4,000 mile change interval. I did not use the product in these cars.

Also this product delivers slightly better fuel economy and I can tell the compression and performance improvement of both the 1999 and 2002 SC2's is noticable. Great product!!! Use it, it works.

first used on a four banger that had developed a knock from running without water due to a broken hose in the arizona heat, and after fixing the hose, adding water, and regularly using the restore product, i put another 50,000+ miles on the car before selling it on many years later. i am convinced it has saved me thousands in repair bills and has extended the life of, and quieted tired and noisy motors. i now use it as a preventative in my antique cars with great success. it won't bring back the dead, but it'll often restore lost performance dues to wear.

would it be safe to use 24-32oz of Engine Restore on a vehicle with 180,000 and very heavy oil build-up, after I use a heavy duty engine flusher?

                        A:

Hi JJ, glad to assist you! The Restore Engine Restorer and Lubricant with CSL 8-Cylinder Formula 16oz (Part No. 00016/00019) is a high performance oil additive that increases compression in older high-mileage engines. The unique CSL formula fills worn areas of the cylinder walls to reduce blow-by and restore compression to near original levels. Restoring cylinder compression improves combustion to increase horsepower, reduce oil burning, maximize fuel mileage and restore peak engine performance. In addition, it provides extreme pressure lubrication to help protect engine components from excessive wear. Compatible with conventional or synthetic oil.

                    • Q:

So I add this ontop of the engine oil?

example: My truck takes 7Qrts.. and this is half a quart... So do I just put 6 and a half quarts and then add this Engine Restorer And Lubcricant? Or do I add it on top of my 7 Quarts?

                      Second Question:

Does this help with Engine/cylinder Blow By? I know this is common on older engines... And Does it help seal any leaks/cracks? Or is it just a lubricant? If so you guys should add this to the product description.

                        A:

Happy to assist Thebreda! Oil is subtracted and the engine restore is added, if your truck takes 7 quarts you would out in 6 and a half quarts and the remaining half a quart you would use the Engine Restore to make an even 7 quarts. For your second question this additive can help with blow by from old age and also help with compression but it will vary depending on the condition of the motor.

Its best to add when you do an oil change cause it will be in there longer doing its job. If you add it half way between oil changes, it will not be in the engine doing its job before another oil change is due.
